Access: Se puede acceder pasando el río Chimehuin, por la Ruta Nacional 234; luego tomar a la izquierda la Ruta Provincial 23, luego de 30 kilómetros se llega al puente sobre el río Malleo. Al cruzarlo parte a la izquierda la Ruta Provincial 60 al paso internacional Mamuil Malal.
Comments: Nace en el lago Tromen en la provincia del Neuquén, es afluente del río Aluminé y está formado por las aguas del deshielo del volcán Lanín.
