Ian Gibbs is a top fly fisherman who has been guiding for trout for over 15 years and genuinely delights in being able to pass on fly fishing skills and local knowledge to others.

Ian and Kay also offer homestay accommodation for anglers wanting the full New Zealand experience in their Katikati home which is only twenty minutes from the Ohinemuri and Waitawheta Rivers.

Ian has represented New Zealand in Oceania, Commonwealth and World Championships.

He has also guided the winning team in the Nelson One Fly Competition. He has served as president of the Auckland freshwater anglers club and is on the board of SSFNZ.
